Biography
Michelle grew up in Hastings, and graduated from Hastings St. Cecilia High School. She graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1984, and received her law degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1987. After graduation, she practiced for four years in a private law firm in McCook, Nebraska. In 1991, she joined the Hall County Attorney's Office, where she worked until 2008, when she joined Seiler and Parker, P.C., L.L.C. as an associate. In June, 2011, she became a shareholder with Sullivan Shoemaker.
Michelle's areas of practice include criminal defense, juvenile law, guardianships/conservatorships, adoptions, formation of LLCs, estate planning and probate. She also acts as Public Defender for Clay County. She is a member of the Nebraska Criminal Defense Attorneys Association, and she serves on the Alternate Response Advisory Committee of the Nebraska Children's Commission. She is a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and Altar Society, and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She also serves on the Stewardship Committee and Parish Council at St. Michael's.
