Biography
Adam Pavelka was born in Hastings, Nebraska, and was raised on a farm between Blue Hill and Bladen, Nebraska. He attended the University of Nebraska where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness. During college Adam had varied experiences in agriculture including production, sales, marketing and education. He then received his law degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law where his emphasis was in taxation, estate and business planning, and agricultural law. Adam remains active in his family’s farming operation and has been an adjunct professor at Central Community College of Hastings where he taught Principles of Agricultural Law. He is a member of the Nebraska Bar Association and is admitted to the United States Tax Court. He also is a member of the Nebraska FFA Alumni Association, serves as President of Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hastings, and is a board member for the Nebraska Community Foundation.
Adam’s practice focuses primarily on helping clients in the areas of estate planning and administration, the formation of all types of business entities, and assisting clients navigate through various types of commercial and agricultural real estate transactions with particular emphasis in 1031 exchanges. Adam enjoys adding value to business and individual clients through aggressive and well-coordinated planning and negotiating. Adam has also experienced success litigating various matters within his areas of practice. He has successfully litigated in various Nebraska county and district courts and has pursued appeals to the Nebraska Court of Appeals and the Nebraska Supreme Court. Adam’s legal background, his extensive experiences and knowledge within agriculture and agribusiness, along with his ability to work well with other professionals help make Adam a much-valued member of any client’s advisory group.
